These Air Fryer Hard Boiled Eggs are ready fast in under 20 minutes and super versatile.Enjoy solo as a snack, added to a salad or in some warm ramen noodles.
Preheat your air fryer to 300 degrees F. Once preheated, add in your eggs and close the lid. Air fry for 7-8 minutes (mine are good at 7 minutes) for a hard boiled egg.
After 7 minutes, remove the eggs carefully from the basket (it will be hot) and add them into an ice bath and let them stand for 10 minutes. Remove from ice bath and either peel and enjoy, or store leftovers accordingly. Enjoy!
Tester EggI HIGHLY recommend testing a single egg in your air fryer, before air frying all of them. All air fryers cook a bi differently and what works for my eggs might not work for yours. Your may need more or less time to get to the perfect hard boiled consistency. I know this is an extra step, but once you do it once you will know the correct time for yours and not have to repeat this in the future.Pro TipDo not leave the eggs in the air fryer for more than the recommended time or they could break open out of their shells. This is another reason I recommend using a tester egg for the first attempt.Soft Boiled EggsIn my air fryer I usually boiled my eggs for 5-6 minutes to achieve a soft boiled consistency. Leftover StorageStore leftover hard boiled eggs in the fridge for up to 1 week. When ready to eat peel off the shell and enjoy.
