These Easy Pan Fried Cinnamon Bananas make the perfect afternoon snack, or addition to breakfast favorite like yogurt or pancakes. These fried bananas only require four ingredients and are ready in under 15 minutes!
Slice bananas into even ½ inch slices. Try to slice strait on and not at an angle Discard the end pieces.
Combine butter, cinnamon and honey into medium skillet. Melt over med to low heat and stir.
.Once the butter in warm and beginning to bubble add the bananas and cook 3-5 minutes until caramelized. Flip the bananas and continue to cook for an additional 3-5 minutes and reduce heat to low. Remove from pan and serve warm.
Bananas: I find that using just ripe bananas work best for this recipe. You want to bananas to be firm and mostly yellow with only a little green left. You can have a few brown spots on them as well. If your bananas are too ripe they will get too soft and not hold up well when cooked.Leftovers: I do not think these cooked bananas store well and recommend eating them immediately once cooked.Baby Note: If feeding to a child under 1 years old swap the honey out for maple syrup. It is not recommended to give children this young honey.
